“Disney Junior Dream Factory” Show Debut Postponed Indefinitely at Walt Disney Studios Park

Originally slated for a Spring 2020 debut before the COVID-19 theme park shutdown, the “Disney Junior Dream Factory” show, formerly “Disney Junior Live on Stage!”, has been postponed indefinitely at Walt Disney Studios Park.

Set to take over Studio D, the show’s debut had previously been postponed to the Fall, however it seems setbacks at the parks have further delayed the premiere. Just earlier today, it was announced that the popular “Jungle Book Jive” and “The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands” shows were officially cancelled, effectively bringing about the abrupt end of this year’s The Lion King & Jungle Festival season. After two Cast Members from “Jungle Book Jive” tested positive for COVID-19, it seems Disneyland Paris may be taking further steps to protect performers and guests.

Unfortunately, the delay of the show’s debut will of course impact Walt Disney Studios Park, which has suffered from low attendance throughout the resort’s reopening. The park is rumored to close temporarily, however Disneyland Paris has denied these statements.
