We visited Magic Kingdom on a cloudy, not-so-crowded day to get into the Halloween spirit.
Mickey Mouse and his friends greeted us in their Halloween attire from the Walt Disney World Railroad Station.
Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood rode around on the trolley wearing cute Halloween costumes.
Mickey “Jack-O-Lantern wreaths have been installed for the 2020 Halloween season.
Guests lined up bright and early at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments to get their hands on the new Madame Leota light-up sipper.
The park experienced light crowds throughout the day.
Splash Mountain experienced technical difficulties in the morning, but opened shortly after the park opening, at around 9:30 AM.
This duck enjoyed swimming around the Briar Patch.
Construction continues on the TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I wish that Disney would bring back the nightly fireworks and stage shows at the parks. That is one big reason I believe some people aren’t going down. Obviously people are worried about covid and rightly so. I think the mask mandate while outside is a big reason as well. According to the CDC your odds of catching Covid outside are very very slim. I think the interest would rise if you had the reduced capacity, social distancing, temperature checks and an indoor mask mandate.
Why are Mickey and Minnie still randomly presented in their bright purple vampire and witch outfits, I thought they would be retired after last Halloween, because those were overused at Magic Kingdom for the last decade or so, so starting next year’s Halloween festivities, they have to be in completely different costumes like in the cavalcades
