Multiple guests in Disney’s Hollywood Studios have tweeted this morning about My Disney Experience not detecting that they are in the park, stopping them from getting a boarding group.
Marc Moran tweeted a screenshot of the error on My Disney Experience, stating “How am I not in the park, yet I am in the park?”
Manda Nickel tweeted about several groups having the same error despite having been in the park for half an hour.
The error caused huge lines for Guest Services and Guest Experience Teams. Jedi Talk Podcast tweeted a picture of one line weaving through the park. The lines are so long that there are no social distancing markers, though guests are attempting to social distance as well as they can. The picture demonstrates just how widespread the issue is, with dozens of parties unable to get boarding groups despite being in the park.
