Tomorrowland PeopleMover Refurbishment Extended Through November 28 at the Magic Kingdom

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, a favorite attraction among guests at the Magic Kingdom, was officially moved to the refurbishment list back in August. At the time, the refurbishment calendar only listed the attraction being closed through October 31, 2020.

Now, it seems the refurbishment is going to last a bit longer, with the new end date being listed as November 28 (now moved up from November 21.)

Prior to the Magic Kingdom’s official reopening, the attraction didn’t operate during Cast Member and Annual Passholder previews. The last time the attraction was open was in March, before it was closed for a week ahead of the park’s temporary shutdown. The attraction was then moved to the “Temporarily Unavailable” status on July 28, before officially going on the refurbishment list on August 8.

Keep reading WDWNT for continuing coverage of the closure.

  1. Disregard previous comment – found this info…sort of. If you select the PeopleMover via the attractions list and go to any date the week of November 22nd, it says “closed for refurbishment.” However, where I was originally looking, on the daily park hours listing, when you look at the MK any date during the week of November 22nd, it does NOT list the PeopleMover in the closed for refurbishment section. That’s really confusing. The info should be consistent no matter where it is posted.
