After a refurbishment that took over a month, Beach Club Marketplace has reopened at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.

The shop and counter-service restaurant closed on August 23rd. One of the big changes is that the designated entrances and exits have switched places, with guests now entering through the restaurant side.

Markers have been set up to space guests waiting to enter.

Plastic silverware dispensers are located outside.

Mobile Ordering was part of the enhancements coming to the Marketplace, with signage outside encouraging guests to take advantage of the service.

Signage was up for a Virtual Queue queue, though it wasn’t in use when we visited.

True to its name, the Marketplace serves sandwiches that are perfect for a day at the beach… or at the Beach Club, in this case.

Though a new beverage island was part of the refurbishment, with self-service soda fountains currently restricted, a Cast Member pours for guests.

Inside the shop, one of the biggest changes is the removal of the nautical-themed carpeting on the floor. Below, you can see how it looked on the first day of the closure.

There’s also been a change in the color scheme, as a uniform turquoise has replaced the sky blue and brick red look.

Like in most shops and restaurants around Walt Disney World, social distancing markers are on the floor directing guests to the restaurant ordering counter.

There’s plenty of merchandise to be found around the shop. During the refurbishment, select merchandise and food was offered in the Solarium.

Serving tables are also set up by the hot beverages, including coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

More markers are near the shop register, which has a plexiglass window installed.

There was even Beach Club Trivia by the counter. Do you know any of the answers?
