The magic of the holiday season continues to make its way across Universal’s Islands of Adventure as more locations around the park are decorated from the season. In addition to more at Port of Entry and Seuss Landing, we’ve got our first look at décor in The Lost Continent, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, Jurassic Park, Toon Lagoon, and Marvel Super Hero Island, so let’s begin our tour!
Port of Entry
As we mentioned in our initial report, garland has been hung across the park entrance turnstiles and shop facades.
Inside Islands of Adventure Trading Company, there’s no need for being sneaky; there’s plenty of Grinchmas merchandise to go around!
Even more garland drapes from the ceiling beams.
Many shops now have themed Christmas trees inside. This one features a nautical adventure theme.
Seuss Landing
Over at Seuss Landing, plenty of decorations have been added to welcome the season.
We hope you like bright colors and tinsel!
A cutout of the Grinch greets guests inside Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous, while the path to the counters is lined with trees.
Meanwhile, his Meanness stands outside… and waits.
The Mulberry Street Store has got plenty of green and teal decorations centerred around a tree inspired by that classic Dr. Seuss book, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!”
This area, with a tree and a snowman (wearing a very familiar hat) seems set up for a socially distant meet-and-greet!
The Lost Continent
Inside Treasures of Poseidon, you can find a tree decked out with ocean blue tinsel, pearl-colored ornaments a trident.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade
A giant garland wraps around the entrance arch to Hogsmeade.
Decorations here are more subdued than in other lands, but that can lead to a more elegant look, like this simple garland by the Hogwarts Express.
The red bows really make the storefronts pop!
Even the Butterbeer cart is getting in on the fun!
A pair of trees wrapped in Hogwarts house colors adorn the stage area.
Jurassic Park
Inside Jurassic Outfitters, the decorations are less pine needles and more prehistoric ferns.
Though to be fair, the Jurassic Park-inspired tree at the front of the store may be one of the best-looking things in the whole park. Truly, they spared no expense. John Hammond would be proud.
Toon Lagoon
Inside Toon Extra, a pair of animated-looking trees stand in the window…
But over at the Betty Boop Store, Betty’s got her red and green outfit ready as she hangs out by a hot pink Christmas tree!
Marvel Super Hero Island
Hey, did anyone leave any Infinity Stones hanging around? No, wait, those are ornaments.
And now, last but not least: (to the tune of “O Christmas Tree”) Avenger tree, Avenger tree, the holidays assemble.
