While staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, we got to enjoy one of their Main Tower rooms with a theme park view. Although there currently aren’t any fireworks, we were still impressed with our view looking out at Seven Seas Lagoon and the Magic Kingdom. Main Tower rooms feature 2 Queen Beds and 1 Day Bed, as well as plenty of space for guests not to feel cramped. Let’s venture into the iconic A-frame hotel and take a look!
From right outside of our room, we were able to look down into the resort, seeing Chef Mickey’s and the Contempo Cafe. We also were right above the monorail, which was always fun to spot when it arrived at the resort.
Once inside, you’re met with a small hallway, which houses two closets and the bathroom.
A Keurig coffee machine and ice bucket are available on this counter for guest’s convenience.
Beneath the coffee station is a mini fridge and some pantry space.
The two closets features hangers, an iron and ironing board, a safe, extra bedding, and a luggage stand.
The bathroom features a shower/tub combo, plus two large sinks with lighted mirrors. The sinks are everyone’s least favorite feature here, as they’re flat and wide with no incline, meaning you have to scrape the sides of the sink each time.
Basic toiletries like soap, H2O+ lotion, mouthwash, a vanity kit, and shower cap are included.
Over by the tub, more individually packaged toiletries are available.
Once you move past the hallway, you’re met with the TV and a bright green ottoman next to the day bed.
On the other side, you have a desk set up, with an additional small table with wheels so you can move it around your room to your liking. Additional outlets and shelf space are available by this bed.
From the desk, you can see the two Queen beds, with a small nightstand between them. The nightstand has a small hub with USB ports for charging your devices. Due to the age of these rooms, there are no USB ports anywhere else in these rooms, so pack some wall ports to be safe.
Moving over by the balcony doors, you can get a better scope of the room’s expansive size.
The day bed is hidden behind the sofa. Just pull down along the top edge to flip it over to the mattress side. The bed comes fully made, with linens and all.
On this rainy afternoon, our balcony awaited us with two chairs and a small table.
Although the balcony was a bit wet from the rain, we couldn’t get over our view of the Seven Seas Lagoon, where we could see Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and of course, the Magic Kingdom, complete with breathtaking sights of Cinderella Castle and Space Mountain.
