Greetings, programs! It’s been a while since we’ve taken a look at TRON Lightcycle / Run construction at the Magic Kingdom, and in the week that’s passed, a lot has happened!

From outside of the park, we can see the paneling work on the leftmost building is all but finished, as the scaffolding that covered that side has come down.

On the second-tallest building to the right, the side facing us seems enclosed, as the dark-blue paneling now covers the side. This is a massive change from what we saw last Tuesday.

From inside the park, the trucks have moved away from another section of framework, giving us a better view of what it looks like as it gets ready to be installed.

The area seems to have more canopy pieces that it has in recent visits, suggesting that work could pick up soon.

When complete, this framework will hold LED panels that will illuminate riders journey through the Grid.

Moving over to the roller coaster’s outdoor track, more of the brown support columns have been added to the area, including near the part just after the first dip.

Just to the right of that, the some of tallest beams are being connected at the top.

Hopefully, this means that installation of the canopy sections will soon begin!

As it stands, work seems to be moving along swiftly, which should mean good things for its planned completion next year. The Magic Kingdom guidemap does declare the coaster is “Now Programming” which indicates that Disney is planning on opening it sooner rather than later.
