PHOTOS: Goat Exhibit Construction Continues at Kilimanjaro Safaris in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Every day brings us a little bit closer to the opening of the new goat exhibit at Kilimanjaro Safaris in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. While things seem to have slowed down in recent weeks, we thought we’d take a look to see if anything has changed.
As we approach the exhibit, we can see some of the wooden poles that have been put up in recent weeks.
Coming around to the new gate, the taller, thicker poles suggest the placement of a fence around the exhibit to protect the area’s future residents.
More stakes could be indicative of pens for the goats to hang out in at times.
The dirt has a more “paved” appearance, looking smoother and somewhat cleaner than the sandy patches we can see to the right.
Less poles can be seen on the right-hand side, though the perimeter poles run the whole way around.
As we exit the space, we can get an overview of what the exhibit could look like with fencing added.
Currently, no opening date has been announced yet, but given our love of goats, you can bet that WDWNT will be there to report on the new exhibit at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
