Magic Kingdom
- The holidays have arrived at the Magic Kingdom for 2020, and it wouldn’t be Christmastime at the Most Magical Place on Earth without those Toy Soldiers leading the Main Street Philharmonic in their march around the park
- Joe Biden has officially won the 2020 Presidential Election—and while that will mean many changes for the country, the outcome may also affect a tiny corner of Walt Disney World—namely, the Hall of Presidents
- The holidays have arrived at the Magic Kingdom, bringing along plenty of fun and entertainment! Whether you like characters or seasonal music, there’s plenty to enjoy, so we thought we’d share a full video tour of what’s being offered at the park this year
- Join us on our photo tour of the Magic Kingdom where we see some slides and bridges added to the new stages at Cinderella Castle, Tomorrowland gets some fresh paint, we check out the new Citizen watches, and more
EPCOT
- For the first time in… a few days, Frozen Ever After has reopened following a brief refurbishment at EPCOT, though there is still a technical glitch that needs work
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- The holiday season has put the tinsel in Tinseltown at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and even though we don’t have fireworks or Jingle Bell Jingle BAM! this year, there are still character motorcades and entertainment that offer plenty of yuletide fun
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- The holiday season has brought a trio of Festive Flotillas to the park, each featuring beloved characters all decked out in special apparel as they cruise around Discovery River, and you can see them all here in our video tour
- Every day brings us a little bit closer to the opening of the new goat exhibit at Kilimanjaro Safaris in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and while things seem to have slowed down in recent weeks, we thought we’d take a look to see if anything has changed
- To celebrate Christmas this year, Disney’s Animal Kingdom has brought back the holiday-themed Tree of Life awakenings shows telling wintery tales set to a holiday-themed score, and you can watch them here
Disney Springs
- As of this writing, 10 of the 12 themed Christmas trees are on display for the Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs, and we have a photo tour to see them all
- Guests looking to get some early holiday shopping done this evening at Disney Springs should be aware that the Orange and Lime parking garages are currently at capacity
Other Walt Disney World News
- Tropical Depression Eta continues to strengthen as it moves across the Caribbean on its way to Florida and storm-force winds are forecasted to hit the Orlando area on Monday
- White Castle is coming to The Village at O-Town West, just north of Walt Disney World on Interstate 4, in what is not only the largest location, but also the first location in Florida for the fast-food chain in 52 years
Tokyo Disney Resort
- It’s a lovely, sunny day here in the Tokyo area, perfect for a photo tour as we voyage around the seven ports of Tokyo DisneySea
- Tokyo Disney Resort has recently started to replace its 19 year-old fleet of Disney Resort Line monorails with a new “Type-C” rolling stock and now the second of five new trains has been delivered to the resort—Monorail Pink
New Merchandise
- There’s a new item at Disney’s Animal Kingdom that has us all aglow for the holidays — a peppermint Mickey Mouse bottle topper
- If you’re a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, there’s a new way to drink in the Christmastime cheer at Disney Springs — the Annual Passholder Exclusive Santa Mickey Snow Globe Sipper
Universal Studios
Universal Orlando Resort
- We stopped by the Holiday Food Truck in Production Central at Universal Studios Florida and at the chef’s suggestion, we decided to try the Beef Picadillo and it did not disappoint
- After the witches and wizards of Diagon Alley began to decorate for the holidays, the Production Central, New York, and Hollywood areas of the park have received some touches of Christmas
WDW News Today
- A BRAND NEW Ride Rehab Watches LIVE exclusively for WIGS members will be live tonight, Saturday November 7th at 9pm EDT with your usual hosts Tyler Mann and Thomas Kiernan, we will be watching what some call the weird or bad shows, including Splashtacular, Dick Tracy, Cinderellabration, and Toy Story The Musical
