VIDEO: Santa’s Merry Motorcade, Plus Holiday Character Experiences and Entertainment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for 2020

The holiday season has put the tinsel in Tinseltown at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Even though we don’t have fireworks or Jingle Bell Jingle BAM! this year, there are still character motorcades and entertainment that offer plenty of yuletide fun.

Character Motorcades and Apperances

Santa Claus Motorcade

It may not be a sleigh, but Santa Claus is riding in style around the park in a specially-decorated car as part of a very merry motorcade, along with dancing elves carrying presents and streamers. (I mean, this is Hollywood, everyone drives a cool car!) You can catch a glimpse of St. Nick in our video!

It’s “that time of year” in Arendelle, which means a certain snowman is back, and I’m not talking about Frosty! Olaf has returned to “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” for its special holiday finale featuring song’s from “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.” You can see the whole finale in our video below!

Mickey & Friends at Minnie’s Holiday Dine

A new season brings a new themed dining experience to Hollywood & Vine, which means it’s time to feast on Minnie’s Holiday Dine! Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Santa Goofy pose for photo opportunities as guests enjoy a three-course meal. Since the characters don’t stop at individual tables, guests also receive a card with their autographs. You can check out our look at the savory feast for the eyes and taste buds below!

Nighttime Entertainment

Hollywood Holiday Tower Hotel

“Sunset Seasons Greetings” has returned in a modified form as the “Hollywood Holiday Tower Hotel.” While there are no sound effects and “snoap” doesn’t float down Sunset Boulevard, the outside of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror still features holiday projections, including a Muppet gingerbread house, a wintery scene in Arendelle, a Toy Story toy hotel, and a village inspired by Mickey’s Christmas Carol. You can see all four variations as part of our video coverage!
