More Retail & Dining Locations Announced for Flamingo Crossings Town Center Near Walt Disney World

Even more new retail and dining locations have just been announced for the Flamingo Crossings Town Center complex near Walt Disney World. The project has been ongoing for several years, and construction continued during the Walt Disney World Resort closure. The town center will service Disney College Program students, not only through shopping and dining, but also with new housing.

Disney released new concept art for the development. In addition to Walgreens, Target, and more, Flamingo Crossings will have the following:

  • Wendy’s
  • Five Below
  • Domino’s
  • Ellie Lou’s Brews & BBQ
  • Firehouse Sub
  • Persimmon Hollow Brewing Co.
  • Pieology Pizzeria
  • Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
  • UPS store

Some stores are expected to open next year. Disney said, “These brands will join a stellar lineup of previously announced shops and restaurants including Target, which will serve as the primary anchor, PDQ, Five Guys, Ben & Jerry’s and Dunkin’. Walgreens is also currently under construction on an outparcel.”

Flamingo Crossings will also have several hotels. SpringHill Suites by Marriott and TownePlace Suites by Marriott are both already open and operating. Fairfield and Residence Inn by Marriott as well as Homewood Suites and Home2 Suites by Hilton are all under construction and expected to open by next year. Hampton by Hilton is scheduled to be completed later in 2021.

  1. Interesting that they are putting a Target at FC considering there is already one just 3 miles south.

I used to own a house nearby so I was following this closely after it was announced in 2007. This and so many projects ground to a halt when things turned soured in 2009. Back when it was announced we had no idea it still wouldn’t be completed in 2020.
