What a year 2020 has been! Even though we still have over 24 hours until 2021, we are counting down the hours now, how about you? To pass the time, we headed to the Magic Kingdom to check out what might be new there, and we’re glad we did! Let’s get started!

On our way into the park, we noticed that a new plexiglass divider had been added to the Express Monorail loading platform. We’re glad to see Walt Disney World continue to make changes to improves safety.

On our way down Main Street, USA, we noticed that some of the Christmas displays in the windows for The Emporium had begun to transition to displays of 2021 merchandise with Christmas decorations.

We imagine it won’t be long before the Christmas decorations disappear altogether and all of the window displays become 2021 merchandise!

Inside The Emporium, we found a new addition to the Disney Dogs and Cats merchandise. This three pack of bandanas is a part of the Disney Tails line, and features three different designs that coordinate with other pieces of merchandise in the collection.

The three pack retails for $24.99.

We also found a knit dog sweater featuring Mickey Mouse, perfect for these cooler days we’ve been having. This sweater retails for $44.99.

In the homewares department, we found this new addition to the Homestead “Hidden Mickey” line. This set of three small bowls, each a different color from the collection, retails for $34.99.

Like the window displays, the interior displays of The Emporium have begun transitioning from Christmas to 2021 as well. These large displays by the center doors have already changed over to all 2021 merchandise.

In the apparel room, we found a new shirt featuring the word “Happy” with the “A” replaced with a castle. This shirt retails for $24.99.

Next we came across a whole new line of costume jewelry featuring Minnie Mouse, as well as the Wishables necklace of Minnie Mouse.

We love the little cheeky wink! The Wishables necklace retails for $14.99.

Next, featuring red and white acrylic beads, was a necklace and bracelet with a Minnie Mouse and bow charm. Both pieces retail for $14.99.

Next we found two necklaces featuring felt charms. One featured a heart with Mickey and Minnie head silhouettes, and the other featured a carousel horse with a castle and a tea cup. Both necklaces retail for $14.99.

We checked in on the construction site of TRON Lightcycle / Run and found that the show building has closed up around where the track exits the building. We hope this doesn’t mean long term delays for the attraction!

We spotted workers on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover track, which, along with the arrangement of it’s ride vehicles recently, gives us hope for its early January reopening.

We found four new shirts in the MaDe kiosk in the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. All four of these new shirts feature characters from “The Mandalorian”.

These shirts all start at $29.99.

We checked in on the construction at Harper’s Mill on Tom Sawyer Island, but couldn’t see that any progress had been made.

We had a wonderful day at the Magic Kingdom, and we are looking forward to ringing in the new year here tomorrow! We hope you enjoyed coming along with us today. Have a magical day!
