It’s another busy Saturday at the Universal Orlando Resort. It was a gray, overcast morning but that didn’t seem to hold back any of the crowds. The parks hit capacity before noon. Let’s take a look at some of the crowds.

Making our way through the long line of guests waiting to get into Universal Studios Florida had us prepared for the parks to reach capacity early. This is going to be a long day.

Seeing crowds like this early in the day is a really bad sign. It’s going to get worse.

Just like everyone else in the park, we made our way to Diagon Alley first. It’s fun to watch guests experiencing the Wizarding World for the first time.

No chance of us getting a Butterbeer today with these crowds.

Universal Studios’ Classic Monsters Cafe only opens on busy days, so many people aren’t aware they can grab lunch here. Lucky for us, and we walked in without waiting. We ordered the Mummy Platter and were impressed by the Vegan Jackfruit Sandwich. Also, this was the fastest mobile order experience we’ve ever had at the parks.

Inside the Williams of Hollywood Prop Shop, several of the Scarecrow Stalk scarecrows are available for purchase. If you’ve always wanted a creepy leprechaun prop and you’ve got an extra $4,500, this would be a fine purchase.

We’ve got our eye on a few smaller items from the shop.

Guests were lined up early for the Bourne Stuntacular.

Crowds were intense in the afternoon.

Islands of Adventure was just as busy. The queue for Skull Island: Reign of Kong was at capacity when we passed by.

Oddly enough, some attractions had almost no wait.

There’s a new wall near the Lost Continent and the Jurassic World VelociCoaster track.

Hogsmeade was a nightmare.

A barrier has been set up in front of the doors to the old lockers for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and the old signage above the door has been covered. Now that the new lockers are open, this area is no longer in use.

An 85 minute wait for the Hogwarts Express.

Even the smoking areas were crowded.

If you look closely, you’ll see VelociCoaster vehicles photobombing our pictures of the Incredible Hulk Coaster.

It’s been a busy day, but we’re getting out of here. Thanks for following us today and be sure to stay tuned for more updates from Universal Parks News Today.
Hello! I’m going to both parks on December 29th, I am from Argentina and I do not want to risk my entrance. That day the gate opens at 8am, at what time do you recommend me to be there? Thank you!
