Major work inside the France Pavilion expansion at EPCOT seems to be wrapping up. The expansion is home to the upcoming Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction. A trip on the Disney Skyliner is the best way to check on progress. Today’s Skyliner flight shows us that construction equipment is mostly gone from the area. The Remy fountain was also on today.
Let’s take a look at the current state of the France Pavilion expansion.
As we had previously reported, hand-painted art nouveau murals have been added to building facades.
Queue stanchions stand outside La Crêperie de Paris. Walk-up windows and a countertop are located at the building’s front.
This merchandise kiosk will offer Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure souvenirs.
The tree-lined streets look like they are nearly ready to welcome guests.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will be the France Pavilion expansion’s lone attraction. Disney has announced that the new ride will open in 2021.
The tiered fountain sprays water from wine bottles. Remy tops the fountain, surfing on a plate. Note the open door at the patisserie in the background.
Will the France Pavilion expansion open in advance of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure? Tell us what you think in the comments.
I can’t wait to experience this attraction when I go to Walt Disney World in the future, it really look like I’m riding the original one from Walt Disney Studios Theme Park at Disneyland Paris.
