The expansion of EPCOT’s France Pavilion is almost complete, with Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opening in 2021. During our latest flight on the Disney Skyliner, we noticed plenty of activity in the expansion, but not from the construction crew we’re used to. With equipment cleaned up and the building exteriors finished, a film crew was in the pavilion today.
The crew was using the merchandise kiosk as a shaded shelter, with plenty of props, like woven baskets and flowers, available for use.
There was nobody at the entrance to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure when we passed by, but all of the areas seem prepped and ready for filming.
It seems the crew was checking out something behind these trees as a possible filming location.
The camera and more equipment was near the expansion’s entrance.
It’s likely this filming is for the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Celebration” which airs on December 25. ABC has promised the special will contain a sneak peek of the new Ratatouille attraction.

I can’t wait for the new Remy ride to open. It’s going to be fantastic! Thank you Disney! 😀😀😀😀❤❤❤❤
