Back in February, we spotted a new popcorn bucket themed to the Disney Resort Line monorail at Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan’s Disney Fan magazine. Now after silence for the past several months, the resort has finally announced that the bucket will go on sale at The Big Pop at Tokyo Disneyland starting December 26th!
Monorail Popcorn Bucket – ¥2600 ($25.13)
The new bucket is themed to the original Type X monorails on the Disney Resort Line, with smaller windows and a single blue stripe, rather than on designs of the newer Type C trains coming into service starting this year. The lanyard is also Monorail-themed, featuring different monorail colors on a rainbow background.
The new Monorail-themed popcorn buckets go on sale at Tokyo Disneyland’s The Big Pop popcorn shop starting December 26th for ¥2600. Please note that advance reservations are required to access The Big Pop at present, so be sure to hold your spot up to 30 days ahead on the Tokyo Disney Resort App or official website.
