Believe it or not, the Liberty Square Riverboat doesn’t sail freely on the Rivers of America. It actually runs along a track, which has been getting some attention during the refurbishment.

Near the riverboat dock, we can see a section of some darker track with pink ties.

Meanwhile, more segments of track wait nearby, likely to replace the more worn portions.

Over near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the area looks pretty clear and the track appears to be freshly laid. Things have moved quickly since our last visit, where most of the track was disassembled.

Things seem to be moving along swiftly, though the refurbishment is scheduled to run through February.
