Spiced Cupcake with a Raspberry Filling and Vanilla Buttercream

The presentation of this cupcake is lovely and we like the edible glitter on top.

This spiced cupcake was mild on the spice, which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing as the raspberry filling was very flavorful.

The cupcake itself was a little dry and crumbly.

There was the perfect amount of icing given the amount of cupcake. Be warned, this icing does stain.

The filling was lovely. It was tart and had a great burst of raspberry flavor. There was a thick consistency, like a paste, but it was smooth and without seeds.

This is a tasty dessert which we really enjoyed, but it didn’t wow us. We’re glad we got it but we wouldn’t need to get it again.
