It’s hard to believe that it was over a year ago when we reported on the concept art for the new M&M’s Store at Disney Springs. The state-of-the-art retail store was set to open Thanksgiving 2020. As with much construction on property, the on-going pandemic pushed the opening schedule back. However, we are happy to report that the new M&M’s Store is officially open for business on Disney Springs’ West Side!

The colorfully fun store features a signature chocolate wall encompassing most of the store.

The detail throughout the store is phenomenal!

Featured front and center in the store is a sweet display for Valentine’s Day. Here you can find various M&M’s packaging and merchandise, including socks and plush pillows, to celebrate the upcoming holiday.

Throughout the store, you can see a vast assortment of merchandise modeled after the colorful chocolates, including apparel and accessories.

M&M’s character graphic tees for children and adults are displayed throughout the store. Other merchandise available includes tumblers, mugs, and tins.

Rainbow retro-themed youth and adult apparel and accessories, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, long sleeves, and socks are displayed as “Colorful Fun For All.”

Other apparel available in both youth and adult sizes includes tie-dye t-shirts, hats, and socks featuring the colorful candies.

There is also a TON of Disney and M&M’s co-branded merchandise exclusive to Disney Springs. In fact, there’s so much, that we gave the items their own post, where you’ll find pictures of everything above and more (as well as prices).

The chocolate walls allow you to create your own mix of M&M’s in bulk. You can choose from peanut M&M’s, classic milk chocolate M&M’s, or other special-flavored M&M’s — more on that below! When buying in bulk, the chocolates cost $15.98 per pound.

If you would like to keep your chocolate purchase more simple, you can create your custom mix in a small cup for $10.99, a medium cup for $14.99, or a large cup for $18.99.

The M&M’s Store features a wide array of color mixes, including a Mickey Mix and a Minnie Mix!

Not only does the store offer classic M&M’s flavors, such as milk chocolate and peanut, but flavors such as fudge brownie, white chocolate cheesecake, and coffee nut are available as well!

Caramel, crispy, and dark chocolate flavors are able to be added to your custom selection — even Skittles!

The M&M’s Store is heavy on customization and the customer experience.

One wall of the store features M&M’s Stack’M gift boxes. These fun gifts come with three stackable containers with matching color lids. The lids come in 8 colors.

The M&M’s Stack’M boxes are Buy 2, Get 1 Free ($14.95 regular price) and your purchase includes a gift box.

The best part? You can even personalize the M&M’s inside as a gift for someone — or for yourself!

To personalize your M&M’s, you will use a design kiosk — which conveniently has a hand sanitizer station next to it.

You will be prompted to select if you would like to design your custom M&M’s with a photo, preset icons, or text.

If you choose to personalize the design with a photo, you will be asked to scan the QR code to upload a photo from your phone.

If you choose to personalize your design with an icon, you will be prompted to select a design from preset options.

The Disney selections feature iconic elements from the Disney parks, such as the Cinderella Castle, Figment, and a Mickey Ear Hat.

The Disney Princess selection features elements that the princesses and their respective movies are known for.

As of now, the Mickey and Friends selection features a Mickey silhouette, a Minnie silhouette, and an image of Minnie’s bow.

We chose to upload an image to show you the process if you would like to use an image from your phone on your M&M’s design. Once you scan the QR code, you will be asked to upload an image by either selecting one from your photo library or by taking a photo. We chose to upload our logo from our photo library.

After uploading an image, the kiosk will prompt you to draw closer to the “face” (or whatever element you would like to be featured on the M&M’s design) in order to remove the background.

Next, you choose whichever option you like best out of the three given choices.

You select whichever option you feel looks the best.

Once you are done selecting your design choices, you will move on to choose your packaging.

There are several packaging options to choose from, including an M&M’s Stack’M gift box, a large heart box, an occasion bottle in a gift box, and a large bulk bag. Can’t decide? Luckily, samples these options are on display to help your decision-making process:

Once you select your packaging, it’s time to check out.

Finally, go to #3 where you get to watch the satisfying creation of your personalized M&M’s!

While you wait for your creation to come to life, you can look at the various colorful offerings the store has, including seasonal color mixes.

We decided to purchase the Small Bulk Bag in white, pastel blue, and blue-colored M&M’s for $19.98.

Though the Disney Springs website still lists the store as “Coming Soon,” the official M&M’s website has removed that language from its Disney Springs location page:

M&M’S at Disney Springs® is located in the West Side of Disney Springs®. The new store is a state-of-the-art offering from Mars Wrigley. Spanning 10,000 sq. ft. of colorful fun, the store fully immerses guests in an interactive M&M’S brand experience and offers exclusive co-branded Disney and M&M’S merchandise including apparel, mugs and more.

Located across the street from the House of Blues in the West Side, the M&M’s Store hours at Disney Springs are currently listed on the M&M’s website as Sunday – Thursday 10am – 10pm and Friday and Saturday 10am – 11pm.
