After a successful launch in Japan and China, Disney nuiMOs plush are coming to shopDisney and Disney Parks around the world. The word “nuiMOs” is a blend of the Japanese nuigurumi meaning plush and moderu meaning model. These pocket-size figures are posable and can be dressed up to match their owner’s personality and taste.
The first U.S.A. and U.K. release will be on Tuesday, January 19 at shopDisney.com, shopDisney.co.uk, Disney stores, and Walt Disney World. This first round of Disney nuiMOs includes Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Stitch, and Angel. There will be plenty of mix-and-matchable accessories and outfits. Disney Parks Blog posted photos of Donald in a black Spirit Jersey, Angel dressed like a Mouseketeer, and Mickey in a letterman jacket.
Beginning February 1, new accessories, outfits, and plushes will be released on the first Monday of each month. The collection will include cooperations with Loungefly, Spirit Jersey, Ashley Eckstein, and Disney Artist Wes Taylor.
