Walt Disney World Laying Off More Cast Members on March 20, 2021

Walt Disney World has filed a notice indicating they will lay off 19 Cast Members on March 20, 2021. It’s not clear if these Cast Members are part of or in addition to previously announced layoffs.

Three of the Cast Members are from Celebration offices, one is from the Maingate Complex, and the other fifteen are from other Walt Disney World departments.

The Walt Disney Company has laid off approximately 32,000 Cast Members in the past year, at least 18,000 of which worked at Walt Disney World Resort.

  1. I am beyond disgusted considering that yesterday I learned that with a reduced salary the top two earners at Walt Disney World made 21, million and $14 million respectively.

    • Disney cares only about the bottom line. People are not their concern. The dollar is their agenda, people are expendable.

  2. Yes, very interesting that the Disney CEO’s make Mega Millions each year in salary while cast members have to sleep in their cars. Until people wake up and say, “enough is enough”, Disney prices will keep climbing and services will keep declining.

  3. Disney dies not care about anyone except themselves. They dont care abiut their employees or their guests. Even during this mess all corporate cares about is money. They lie to everyone
