Walt Disney World Now Asking Groups Over 10 Guests in Size to Split into Smaller Parties in Queues, Restaurants, and Other Spaces

Walt Disney World has updated the physical distancing guidelines on their experience updates webpage. Specifically, they have added information about how larger parties should distance themselves in queues.

The guidelines state “Guests traveling in parties of more than 10 are asked to split into smaller groups in queues, dining locations and other areas around our parks and resorts to better allow for physical distancing.”

Anyone who has traveled with a large group has probably noticed the party doesn’t reasonably fit around one social distancing marker. Splitting up ensures the group can better remain distanced from others in the area. In many cases, cast members at attractions would already do this, but it is now a standard policy.

Walt Disney World has also recently updated their face mask policy regarding transparent face coverings and guests who have received the COVID-19 vaccine.
