The 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will soon be in bloom, and thanks to a helpful gust of wind, we managed to get a sneak peek at the new merchandise that will be featured at this year’s festival.
Sadly our photos aren’t perfect, but it really was one sudden gust of wind that gave us this preview and we had to snap photos fast. The ears were already stocked at a festival marketplace, and we could see that the ears are meant to resemble two puffy red-orange flowers on a yellow band, accented with a sparkly green bow.
A closer look revealed that at the center of the bow is none other than the beloved symbol of citrus, the Orange Bird.
In addition, we can see on the racks that there will be Minnie themed t-shirts and tank tops, as well as mugs resembling watering cans and rain boots.
Of course, the Orange Bird has become the unofficial mascot of the festival (though Spike the Bee may beg to differ), appearing on a variety of merchandise in recent years. Earlier this month, we got a glimpse at a redesigned Orange Bird sipper and this year’s Spirit Jersey, continuing the “Hello Sunshine” theme from 2020. Soon, we’ll get to see these ears up close when the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off on Wednesday, March 3rd.
