Additional Plexiglass dividers have been added to the exterior covered queue of Pirates of the Caribbean at Magic Kingdom.
Much of the exterior queue does not have the dividers, but guests are always encouraged to distance themselves by six feet.
The dividers have been installed closer to the building’s entrance.
As with most queue dividers, the Plexiglass portion is at eye level. The divider starts just above knee level.
There are no dividers around the columns where guests turn a corner, but the markers are spaced accordingly.
The dividers mean that chains and stanchions are no longer necessary for changing the shape of the queue.
It’s harder to see just how much of the queue is left before entering the building.
There are still no Plexiglass dividers on the boats of Pirates of the Caribbean, but the following attractions are examples fo such alterations being made:
- PHOTOS: Dividers Added to Wildlife Express Train for Higher Capacity at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- PHOTOS, VIDEO: Plexiglass Dividers Testing on Boats at “it’s a small world” in the Magic Kingdom
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Now Seating Guests on Both Sides of Plexiglass Dividers, Drastically Shortening Wait Times at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
How magical. Way to completely destroyed the aesthetics of the queue and theming.
Why even bother going until all this is over? So overboard it’s laughable at this point.
They’re never going to take all this crap down if it’s taken them this many months and they’re still putting it up. How much money are they spending on this kind of garbage when they could be using it to employee cast members or update attractions?
