If you need one more accessory to complete your Trader Sam’s outfit, look no further than Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Plenty of Trader Sam’s merchandise has been debuting at the resort in the past few months, and the newest item is a unique woven purse.
Trader Sam’s Woven Purse – $49.99
The handheld bag resembles a basket, but has a top like a thatched roof.
A ring of embroidered icons, beads, and seashells are on the outside of the bag. One is the Hippopottamaitai glass from Sam’s.
It has a braided handle for carrying.
It unzips and reveals a Trader Sam’s fabric inside.

They are removing Trader Sam from the Jungle Cruise because they don’t believe fierce natives or head hunters existed in the jungle (even though they did). Moving on. Here’s my question will this be the last of the Trader Sam merchandise? Will the lounge at the Polynesian Resort called Trader Sam’s have to change the name?
I’d love to see him brought to the bar itself as the official bartender. I’m still scratching my head (no pun intended) as to why he’s being removed? Oh well.
I don’t see 1 shrunken human head on this purse, that just unacceptable
