In preparation for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World, the entrance archways to the property are being reimagined to match the new hues of Cinderella Castle. Yesterday, workers were painting the Osceola Parkway entrance archway and now the paint job is nearly complete.
The royal blue gradient provides for an excellent pop of color for the red Walt Disney World sign, Mickey, Minnie, as well as for the “Welcome” sign off to the side.

In the beginning stages of this remodel, it was hard to image any change to the iconic archway.
The next step for this archway will be to place gold flags on top.
Then, the only thing left to do is to reimagine the marquee featuring Goofy on the other side of the parkway with a royal blue and gray-hued paint job.
