Mardi Gras 2021: International Flavors of Carnaval at Universal Studios Florida begins today! This festival celebrates flavors from around the world with food and beverages inspired by notable culinary locations. With booths positioned around the park, we headed to the France tasting booth to see what French-inspired cuisine they have to offer!

First of all, we’re very happy that the seasonal crepe is now listed on the menu. Before, we always had to ask a Team Member about what’s new. That being said, Central Park Crepes outdoes themselves with each new crepe they add!
The vanilla pastry cream really did taste like creme brûlée with a slightly sweet taste. It has the consistency of a pudding.
There are red wine poached pears and thinly-sliced almonds nestled within the perfectly-cooked crepe.
The pears are amazing and have the perfect texture: not too soft, not too firm, just right.
They even use a torch to brûlée the sugar on top of the crepe. If you’re craving a snack that isn’t too sweet, this is it!

The France tasting booth is located across from the NBC Media Center, near Central Park Crepes. We highly recommend that you stop by this booth for a Parisian treat during the festival, which runs through March 28th.
