Mardi Gras 2021: International Flavors of Carnaval is in full swing at Universal Studios Florida and today we’re stopping by the Tribute store to try the Mardi Gras Vanilla Cake with Cinnamon Swirl.

Mardi Gras Vanilla Cake With Cinnamon Swirl – $4.99

The cake is presented beautifully with two layers featuring swirled Mardi Gras colors and frosting in between. Purple icing coats the top with a mini macaron.

We were pleasantly surprised with this sweet treat. The vanilla cake was extremely soft and fresh.

The sweet and creamy buttercream frosting had a light cinnamon flavor which reminded us of a cinnamon roll. It really enhanced the flavor of the vanilla cake

We appreciated that the cinnamon flavor wasn’t overwhelming and we enjoyed this more and more with every bite.

But, that’s not all! You also have the festive macaron on top. This was just your basic vanilla flavor but we enjoyed it just the same.

This was so good, that we finished every last bite.

We highly recommend that you check out this Mardi Gras Vanilla Cake on your next visit to the Tribute Store. In fact, our suggestion would be to skip the “King Cake” entirely and go directly for this treat.
