We are inching closer and closer to Valentine’s Day at Walt Disney World, and more themed treats are being released. On a trip to Animal Kingdom we found a Valentine’s Day ice cream now available at the Anandapur Ice Cream Truck.

We’ve tried limited time ice cream at Anandapur before, and it didn’t blow our minds. Let’s see how this Valentine’s offering shapes up.

The Anandapur Ice Cream Truck is located in Asia at Animal Kingdom, and is a short walk to the left of Expedition Everest.

Vanilla and chocolate cones at Anandapur are regularly $4.99, so you’re not paying any extra for this Valentine’s ice cream treat.

Strawberry Soft-Serve Waffle Cone – $4.99

We like the look of the ice cream, the bright pink color of the soft-serve itself is an adorable light pink. The red, pink and white heart sprinkles are a nice touch.

You can also get the treat upside down in a cup if you prefer, to save yourself from any ice cream drips.

Unfortunately, while it’s a cute looking dessert, the taste is terrible. It has a very medicine-like flavor, and we’re sure that no actual strawberries were harmed in the making of this ice cream. It truly tastes like creamy medicine.

We do not recommend you try this at all. We wish we could be more forgiving, but alas we expected a vibrant strawberry flavor and were given cough syrup. Very creamy, soft ice cream that tastes exactly like medicine. Would not get again.
