Disney Cruise Line Holding Auditions for Character Performers

Though all sailings have been suspended through May 2021 with Disney Magic sailing canceled through August 2021, Disney Cruise Line is expected to resume sailing this fall. In anticipation for operations to begin once again, Disney is now auditioning for character look-alikes for the cruise line.

On the Disney Careers website, it was revealed that photo submissions for character look-alike performers onboard Disney Cruise Line are now being accepted. Disney Auditions is currently only casting for Mulan, Jasmine, and Moana.

Along with character specifics, the job description includes: Seeking individuals with a slender to athletic build.  Performers should be able to demonstrate high-energy character animation levels, full range of body movement, and imaginative improvisation techniques.

The entire job description, along with further specifics, can be found here. Submissions are being accepted through March 21, 2021.

Although there is no start date, this job posting brings hope that Disney Cruise Line will resume operations sooner rather than later. Are you excited to see the Disney cruises come back?

  1. Hopefully they ask the people that were laid off back and pick from the part time and seasonal people they let go

  2. Hi, I was so excited when this was posted, but it looks like it has been taken down from the Disney Auditions page?
