Back in 2017, we learned of a rumored hotel to be built somewhere near the entrance to EPCOT. In 2018, as more of EPCOT’s reimagining was confirmed, several permits pointed to the hotel’s impending construction on Avenue of the Stars, the backstage street surrounding EPCOT. However, there has been no news since then, and several construction projects at EPCOT were delayed in the past year due to COVID-19.
Three years later, real estate agent Ken Pozek has discovered information pointing to a revitalization of the project. Pozek discussed the possible EPCOT hotel in his latest YouTube livestream.
Pozek talks about the EPCOT hotel in the first ten minutes of his livestream, looking at our February 2018 article on the subject. He shares a report last updated on February 4, 2021, indicating bidding has begun on the project.
The report refers to the hotel as “Epcot Future World Hotel” but of course Future World will not be called that by the time the hotel would be opened. The address for the hotel is listed as 1474-2000 Avenue of the Stars. As Pozek points out, 1474 Avenue of the Stars is approximately between The Land Pavilion and the Imagination! Pavilion, which does not provide a lot of land for a new resort.
However, 2000 Avenue of the Stars, is between the proposed sites we shared back in 2017 and 2018. It’s possible the listed address means that the hotel will be built somewhere between the 1474 and 2000 addresses, which would put it at our proposed site B.
Hopefully, this new information and the completion of EPCOT’s reimagined entrance means we’ll be hearing more about the EPCOT Future World hotel in the near future. Would you want to stay so close to EPCOT? Let us know in the comments.

We are staying at the Beach Club in June and that is pretty close to being right at the back entrance to Epcot. They have several resorts over there so I would have to say that many people would love to stay that close to Epcot.
It would be nice. But I think Disney needs to start thinking about the regular and normal tourest. Finish the projects they started. They dont need another hotel or certainly not another DVC
Disney would have to eradicate it’s serious rat problem at Future World in Epcot. At night rat sightings are very common. One grazed right by our stroller on our way to the Nemo ride one night. Figure a way to keep the rats out of the future world hotel please.
It’s okay, they’ll just paint it blue and we won’t even see it.
I’d rather stay in a hotel themed to one of the World Showcase pavilions. I think the theming could be a lot better for a country (like China). Plus The World Nature section doesn’t have that many E ticket attractions to hoof it to.
But I understand why they couldn’t have put it in World Discovery. The noises from Guardians and Test Track would be too much.

I suppose if it has an entrance between Imagination and Canada it would be great, but if it’s entrance is the same main entrance at the front, I’m not interested.
I just wonder what the views would be like. North side would face the parking lot, and the South side would primarily see the backsides of show buildings.
