Automatic Attraction Photo Linking to Phone Now Testing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as Part of MagicMobile Rollout

After noticing that we were greeted with a new message on the My Disney Experience homepage about enabling Bluetooth for the new MagicMobile service, we were met with yet another message once we got to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this time introducing us to Automatic Attraction Photo Linking Via the App.

Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios can now have their on-ride photos automatically linked to their Disney account using their mobile device if Bluetooth is enabled for the My Disney Experience app before riding. Currently, the only attractions offering this feature during the test period are Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

The new service is being introduced as part of the rollout of MagicMobile features, but Disney has made it clear that they are not discontinuing MagicBands. Guests can continue to use MagicBands to automatically link attraction photos to their accounts.

Keep up with WDWNT as we report more information on the latest MagicMobile service.
