Only Disneyland Resort Sit-Down Restaurants With Outdoor Seating Will Reopen With the Parks

The good news? Disneyland Resort theme parks are reopening to guests April 30! The bad? California’s indoor dining restrictions will severely limit dining options.

Under California’s Tier 2 “red” phased reopening, indoor dining may not be offered. Because Disneyland Resort has only a handful of dining locations that offer outdoor seating, guest choices may be limited at reopen.

Two restaurants at each theme park are so far announced to reopen April 30. At Disneyland, River Belle Terrace and Plaza Inn offer spacious outdoor seating, so they have made the cut. At Disney California Adventure, guests can dine outdoors at Carthay Circle Lounge and Lamplight Lounge, offerings that either already opened or will for “A Touch of Disney”.

Guests may only enter Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks with valid admission and park reservations, similar to the system in place at Walt Disney World. Guests must also be California residents.

Disney has also announced “new magic” at The Haunted Mansion, the opening of Snow White’s Enchanted Wish, an an April 29 reopening for Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

It is possible that additional outdoor sit-down dining locations will reopen. Keep checking WDWNT for additional updates.

There are several other places at Disneyland where there is out door seating. Maybe not sit down, wait on you by server, restaurants but there are several more. Tomorrowland Terrace, Pizza Port, Hungry Bear, just to name a few. Plus a place on New Orleans Square that I can’t remember the name of. Also there is Paradise Pier Pizza and Pasta in California Adventure and Taste Pilots Grill.
