The Haunted Mansion Will Return at Disneyland with Enhancements and “New Magic”

The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland Park was undergoing a major facelift just before the parks closed in March of 2020, but Disney has announced that the “new magic” they were working on for the attraction will debut when Disneyland reopens on April 30th, 2021.

Classic and favorite attractions will begin to open at both parks—from epic experiences like the new Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to family-friendly experiences like Peter Pan’s Flight and Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind—plus new magic is coming to Haunted Mansion.

While we don’t know exactly what they are referring to, we hope to find out when The Haunted Mansion reopens to all foolish mortals in April.

  1. Why only Disneyland? Is it part of Chapek’s continued plan to make us spend as much money as possible by forcing us to go to both parks to experience all that this ride has to offer? It’s the same thing they’re doing for Avengers Campus and how you need to go to Paris AND California for the full story.

  2. Oh PLEASE dont sucumb to any pressure or thought of removing the hanging body from the stretching room!!
