Disneyland Resort Reopening Only to California Residents Until Further Notice, Implementing New Theme Park Reservation System

Because theme park capacity will be significantly limited to comply with governmental requirements and promote physical distancing, the Disneyland Resort will manage attendance through a new theme park reservation system that requires all guests to obtain a reservation for park entry in advance. To enter a park, both a park reservation and valid admission for the same park on the same date are required for guests ages 3 and up. Theme park reservations will be limited and subject to availability and, until further notice, only California residents may visit the parks in line with current state guidelines.

More details about this new reservation system will be available soon, although we expect it to be similar, if not identical, to the reservation system at Walt Disney World. We got a glimpse of what the new reservation system may look like last June.

The screenshot above is just an example of what the new reservation system may look like online and in the Disneyland app. A reservation must be made for each park, and like Walt Disney World, park hopping may be limited or non-existent upon reopening.

Newsome’s big government has done nothing to protect California businesses and workers, so why on earth should ANY company “comply” with the state? The fact that only CA residents can visit DLR is ridiculous. Again, don’t tell me it’s because of “health & safety” and in the name of “science.” Baloney. It’s because on control, and the state/government loves that.
