Hello from another lovely but hot day at the Magic Kingdom! We had a quiet day overall, but still found some fun things to show you. Let’s get started!
A bit more progress has been made on the Cinderella Castle Stage since our last update. The left side has been completely covered in metal grate, and now has what appears to be metal and wood strips on top of that.
The right side is now completely covered in metal tubing. The center of the stage still has a metal channel about a foot wide where the tubing and grates are not covering.
Two additional small bunting pieces were added to Cinderella Castle last night, making the 50th Anniversary decor now fully visible from the front of the Castle.
A single piece was added on each side, making both sides symmetrical. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
The Swiss Family Treehouse reopened today after a short refurbishment, during which most of the netting throughout the attraction was replaced. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
New bunting is being installed at the Tangled-themed restrooms in Fantasyland, giving this area a fresh look. It appears that each piece is being replaced individually, so while the majority of the pennants are bright and clean, some are still faded and weather spotted.
Concrete work continues in Tomorrowland, with two new patches roped off from guests today. The first was near the exit of Tomorrowland Speedway.
The second patch was closest to the queue of Tomorrowland Speedway.
Agrabah Bazaar, which we reported had reopened as an area for standing tables and stroller parking recently, was closed once again this morning. It’s possible that having this area open was just a test, or that this area just opens later in the day. We’ll be keeping an eye on it in the future.
Early in the morning, we found a photoshoot taking place on The Hub as the first guests entered the park. The Cast Members were photographing a small food item, but we were sadly unable to see more details.
We found two new pairs of ears today that are perfect for Spring. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
We had a great time at the Magic Kingdom, but we weren’t quite done yet! Next, we popped into Disney Springs for a quick bite to eat.
On our way, we found the construction walls had been removed from around the new outdoor seating area of Splitsville Luxury Lanes. We can’t wait to see this new area in action! For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
Finally, we got to try what we had come for: this adorable new Peeps donut from Everglazed. We love it! For more pictures and information, including our full review, check out our article here.
We had a wonderful day at Walt Disney World, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
