It’s another busy day here at the Universal Orlando Resort! The weather is beautiful and we’re ready to start our day over at Islands of Adventure.

The Wizarding World is always packed, especially first thing in the morning. If you’re visiting soon, make sure you have the Universal Orlando app to reserve a Virtual Line time for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.

The last two raptors have finally be unwrapped by the bypass bridge, just down the pathway from the new VelociCoaster sign. They look hungry, though, so hopefully those construction workers are careful!

Crowds have been picking up a lot as we approach Spring Break, but thankfully, we’ve seen more food locations open around the park. In the Lost Continent, the Desert Kebab House is open and serving up some tasty food.

The Jurassic Park Discovery Center has been getting some updates, both inside and outside. The outside is getting a fresh coat of paint and we’ve also discovered some construction walls up near one of the play areas inside. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens next.

Natural Selections will be debuting a new flavor of churro next month, and we can’t wait to try it!

Comic Strip Cafe is open in Toon Lagoon, in case you’re hungry. It’s always good to see Universal opening more food locations on busy days.

This tree has been barricaded for a few days in Toon Lagoon.

This little tree is barricaded in Marvel Super Hero Island, too.

We decided to dance on over to Universal Studios Florida next and check out what’s happening.

Unfortunately, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is closed for maintenance.

The old Ben & Jerry’s location is getting updated and we can see some new designs on the walls as well as new lighting. We’re eager to see what this building is going to turn into now that Ben & Jerry’s is gone.

Now that “A Day in the Park with Barney” is retired, we’ve been keeping an eye on the area. Peek-A-Boo’s house from the preshow is now covered with a black curtain.

The San Francisco Candy Factory has some really fun Universal rock crystal candy. Our favorite are the E.T. and Blue packages! Each bag is $15 and contains different flavors of rock candy.

Today’s snack hack combines a corn dog from a nearby stand and the Brussels Frites from the Belgium tasting booth. Use that extra dipping sauce on your corn dog!

Bruce the shark is still missing from San Francisco. We hope he returns soon. The tables have been moved out of the area, so maybe that’s a good sign.

That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for joining us around the parks today and be sure to stay tuned for more updates from WDWNT and Universal Parks News Today!
