PHOTOS: Additional Weather Proofing Added to Cinderella Castle Stage at Magic Kingdom

Cinderella Castle is undergoing an “earidescent” transformation in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort. The stage in front of Cinderella Castle has been blocked from guest view for almost a month now in preparations for the transformation.

We reported last week that weather-proofing was added to the castle stage.

The stage was stripped recently of its platforms and flooring, and now what remains is completely covered in ice and water shields.

The railings continue to be covered in grey scrims, blocking the view of the stage construction from guests down below.

The stage was incredibly rusty once the flooring and platforms were removed, so we are glad to see it receive a much needed makeover.
