We’ve been closely monitoring the demolition of Innoventions West at EPCOT. Today, we stopped by to see how work was progressing since our last visit.

Structural support beams continue to be removed from the building.

Remnant pipes and wiring are still visible on what’s left of the framework.

We saw the corner supports removed last week and lateral supports continue to come down. The front of the building is now completely disconnected from the back portion.

We expect the remaining supports of the building to be taken down in the coming days.

From this angle, you can see just how much of the building has been removed so far with a large empty space in the middle. Workers and heavy machinery equipment can also be seen beyond the construction walls.

The Simba and Friends topiaries in Future World West can be also be seen nearby the construction site.

The demolition of Innovention West is to make way for the Journey of Water attraction, inspired by Moana that will soon be a part of the World Celebration neighborhood at EPCOT.
