PHOTOS: Painting Continues on Carriage House at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa recently debuted brand new rooms and a new color scheme as part of the resort’s extensive makeover. Painting began on The Carriage House, which includes the main lobby and quick-service dining location, about two weeks ago. We stopped by to check on the progress and found that the painting has changed quite a bit near Artist’s Palette.

The exterior of the building is currently receiving a much brighter coat of paint.

A little of the brighter green paint has been added towards the bottom of the building, but progress on the very top appears to remain similar to our last report.

The outside of The Artist’s Palette, the resort’s quick-service location, has received significant changes. The building is now dark blue with light green accents.

Last week, the doors and window frames were painted bright teal, but now they are a much more subdued shade of green.

The long stretch of the building that connects the restaurant to the main lobby is prepped for painting to begin soon.

The doors are now a light green with white trim as opposed to the teal that we saw recently. The new color scheme is bold compared to the old beige colors, but it does seem to tie in with the Victorian-inspired resort.

The refurbishment of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is set to be completed sometime this summer.
