As we previously reported it would, the Swiss Family Treehouse at the Magic Kingdom has closed for refurbishment.
A piece of canvas reading “out gathering supplies” now covers one of the attraction’s signs.
The entrance is currently roped off.
The exit is also roped and walled off.
Though we couldn’t see much work in the treehouse, we did spot a few construction workers and hear what sounded like sanding.
A construction permit was filed for Swiss Family Treehouse last year, and as an opening day attraction at Magic Kingdom, it’s no surprise it is getting some attention before “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” begins. Swiss Family Treehouse is set to reopen March 26, 2021.
