REVIEW: New Captain Marvel Piñata at The Ganachery in Disney Springs

In honor of Women’s History Month, Disney Springs has debuted several new offerings, including this Captain Marvel Piñata treat at The Ganachery. Like The Ganachery’s toque bonbon, it was created by Chef Chocolatier Amanda Lauder for “Celebrate HER Story.”

Captain Marvel Piñata – $28

Dark 65% Chocolate Sphere filled with Toffee Crunch

The piñata comes in a plastic dome. Be careful removing the dome though—it’s glued to the base.

The semi-sweet chocolate shell is very creamy and good.

The decorations are fondant. Both the fondant and the shell are the highest quality versions of these we’ve had in a long time.

We also enjoyed eating the tasty, crispy pearls with the shell.

Of course, we couldn’t wait to get inside the piñata.

It comes with a Ganachery-branded hammer just for smashing the piñata open.

The toffee on the inside was to die for.

It was crunchy, flaky, and covered in crunchy pecans and a generous portion of sea salt.

This was absolutely delicious!

Not only did the piñata have a super fun presentation and delivery method, but it was also of superb quality. We would definitely get it again.

We also tried the Mrs. Incredible Float, another item part of the “Celebrate HER Story” event at Disney Springs.
