Hello from a beautiful, sunny day at EPCOT! There wasn’t too much going on today, but we still found some new things to show you. Let’s get started!
We started the day by taking a look at Spaceship Earth and finding additional Points of Light had been installed overnight in anticipation of the 50th Anniversary. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
Several new windows were added to the future locations of Club Cool and Creations Shop. Workers were especially busy in this area today installing the glass.
The spot we saw in the France Pavilion that still had the wooden spacers in the pavement has been upgraded to permanent putty spacers.
Nearby further into the Pavilion, the wooden spacers are still in place, and even further, the pavement is still scored, signaling that more pavement work here is on the horizon.
While there, we noticed that the registers for the Festival booth have been moved back to their original location on the right side of the booth.
The Restrooms in the Morocco Pavilion are still closed for refurbishment, and no visible change can be seen from outside the construction wall.
While the bridge in the Italy Pavilion still has sections covered in scrim fabric for refurbishment, one such section was exposed today. These two levels of banister were covered until now, and have been revealed to be stark white. We expect the marble look will be painted on in the near future.
We found that pins had been added to Gateway Gifts in preparation for Pin Traders’ temporary closure next week. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
We found a redesigned Rose & Crown bar mat for sale with some of the older Rose & Crown merchandise at the Tea Caddy. Check out our article here!
We had a wonderful day at EPCOT, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
