Hello from a lovely but very hot day here at the Magic Kingdom! We had another quiet day here in Walt Disney World, but it wasn’t completely without excitement. Let’s get started!

Cinderella Castle Stage saw some significant progress with the right third of the stage having been treated with this spray-on footing. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

It was a very exciting moment for us as we found a third type of decoration had been introduced on Cinderella Castle with these jewel garlands. Unlike the previous installations, these new decorations have started in the front of the castle, with the front two turrets now festooned with these shimmering pieces. In Tomorrowland, we noticed that the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover was testing for longer than normal, and we saw several Cast Members on the load platform throughout the day. The attraction was testing with audio during a good portion of the day, which is also not a common occurrence.

Two more patches of pavement work were found on the walkway through Tomorrowland into Fantasyland. It appears that the concrete work is almost finished here.

The front of the engine in the Casey Jr Splash ‘N’ Soak Station has been taped off for painting where previously this area was covered by black plastic. It’s unclear if this means that the engine will no longer have a face, or if the repainted face will return soon, but we did note this change.

Repainting has begun on Dumbo The Flying Elephant, with the awning structure on the right side repainted in vibrant reds, blues, and yellows. The center and left side have yet to be repainted. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

The queue of Jungle Cruise is also seeing some transformation, with these walls being painted green, and props being removed. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

With construction updates finished, we turned our attention to merchandise. Although we found these cases in physical form in the parks over the last week, they are now available in the MaDe kiosk, which means they are available for a wider range of phone sizes and types. These cases are customizable and start at $29.99.

Next, we found this fun new shirt featuring Dug from “Up” and his lovable attitude. We found this shirt at The Emporium for $24.99.

Our favorite merchandise find of the day was this tie featuring Space Mountain. This was only one of three themed ties found today, so to see the rest of the collection, check out our article here.

We had a wonderful day at the Magic Kingdom today, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
