As part of the ongoing makeover of Cinderella Castle for the 50th anniversary celebrations later this year, the castle stage is undergoing a refurbishment. Earlier this month, after completion of the heating elements, crews began installing wood panel flooring.
The floor panels have all been installed and resurfacing has begun.
The panels are sealed together to hold them in place as the new surface is applied.
Surfacing has been applied to a section of the stage already.
The surfacing is sprayed directly on the wood panels. In spots, you can see through to the wood underneath.
