Hello from a warm but beautiful day here at the Magic Kingdom! It was a quiet day at the park today, but we still found some fun new things to show you. Let’s get started!

Starting with construction, as we always do, we found pavement work in Town Square in the trolley track closest to City Hall. Crown barriers were set up around it with “Wet Paint” signs posted.

We found more pavement work in Tomorrowland, with one whole side of the walkway in between the Tomorrowland Speedway and Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe blocked by these crowd barriers.

With the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover now open, we can finally take a look at the construction progress of the illuminated canopy of TRON Lightcycle / Run from onboard this attraction. The unique view from here allows us to see down into the construction site, and get a glimpse into this massive structure’s progress.

More painting progress has been made on Dumbo the Flying Elephant. The final side of this roof on the left wing has been painted yellow, as well as the red trim on the top.

At the Casey Jr Splash ‘N’ Soak Station, while still surrounded by planters, which screen it from view, sections of the engine of the train have been taped off for painting to be done. It appears that the smokestacks have had the gold done already, but the gold on the rest of the engine has not been painted yet.

On the Jungle Cruise, the large butterfly animatronics at the beginning of the ride were not functioning today.

The Trader Sam platform at the end of the attraction still appears uneven, although no obvious changes have been made. New concept art was shared today revealing the plan for this area, so we will be watching this area closely for more developments.

With construction updates done, we turned our attention to merchandise. The MaDe kiosk in Tomorrowland Light & Power Co had quite a few new additions to it’s catalog today, starting with these DVC “30 Magical Years” designs on a MagicBand and phone cases.

Next, we found new “Raya and the Last Dragon” designs available in the kiosk. While we have seen the magnets available ready-made before, the MagicBands are only available through the kiosk.

Lastly, we found several new designs for the recently concluded “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” Disney+ Original Series.

With the variety of designs here, there’s sure to be something for every fan of the show.

As with all MaDe kiosk items, MagicBands start at $24.99, phone cases start at $29.99, magnets start at $14.99, and almost all of them are customizable.

Before we left Tomorrowland Light & Power Co, we found a “The Child” pullback toy from “The Mandalorian” for $9.99.

At Memento Mori, we found a new 3-D Hitchhiking Ghosts ornament perfect for fans of the Haunted Mansion attraction. This ornament retails for $19.99.

At Fantasy Faire, we found an adult sized visor featuring Mickey Mouse in black and white with a splash of red for $24.99.

Speaking of Mickey, we found several new mugs at The Emporium, starting with this classic Mickey mug featuring his signature on the back for $14.99.

We also found a matching Minnie mug for $14.99.

Next, we found this mug featuring the icons from all four Walt Disney World major parks for $14.99.

To round out the iconic mug collection of the day, we found this one featuring the Monorail along with the famous phrase “Please stand clear of the doors” in English and in Spanish. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

If mugs aren’t really your style, we found the perfect tumbler to be your beverage companion with this Baymax tumbler, which retails for $22.99.

While at The Emporium, we found a late-comer to the “Play, Eat, Repeat” reusable dinnerware line with this reusable silicone placemat, which retails for $19.99.

Our most interesting merchandise find of the day was the most recent release of the Limited Release “Stitch Crashes Disney” Series featuring “The Little Mermaid”. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
