The sun is shining and the spring break crowds are back! It’s another busy day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. Yesterday, the parks were dead due to the weather, but today it was back to business as usual! Let’s see what’s happening around the parks today.

Three new face masks have arrived around the resort featuring Betty Boop and Hello Kitty. The original Hello Kitty face mask has been retired, so it’s nice to see two new styles arrive. Take a closer look at these new masks here.

Islands of Adventure felt packed today, but the parks were not at capacity. We did our best to make it through Hogsmeade.

The crowds were so much worse than they were yesterday, but we’re trying to prepare ourselves for how this part of the park will look on June 10.

The pathway in Jurassic Park that leads towards the bypass bridge and the entrance of the Jurassic World VelociCoaster is blocked off now. There are planters and scrims closer to the smoking area and through the planters we could see a crew working on the walkway.

This is how you get eaten by dinosaurs. You don’t just hop ropes in Jurassic Park!

If you’re adopting a plush raptor, make sure you get the raptor treats, too.

This might be a sign it’s time to get out of Jurassic Park!

Suddenly, we wish it were storming again.

Olive Oyl and Betty Boop were out greeting guests in Toon Lagoon.

A 75 minute wait for Popeye and Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges might be worth it on a hot day. At least you know you’re going to get soaked!

Wait times around the park weren’t too terrible considering how busy it was. The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man was only a 35 minute wait when we passed by.

This is the same face we made when we got to the park today and saw the crowds.

The area around the Discovery Center near the VelociCoaster entrance looks cleared out and almost ready for guests!

We stopped into the Navigator’s Club for a quick lunch. It’s a great place to relax while watching the VelociCoaster testing.

Thai Summer Rolls were recently added to the menu, so we decided to give them a try.

These are a nice change of pace from your typical theme park food. This dish contains mint, bibb lettuce, julienne carrots, avocado, cucumber, radish, and cellophane noodles. It’s served with a delicious peanut sauce and hoisin sauce.

It’s just as busy over at Universal Studios Florida today.

It’s a hot day and a lot of people are just hanging in the shade.

We spotted a tech working in the Fieval play area at the end of the slide. Could this be a sign that this area might reopen soon?

There’s an event in the park tonight, so the park is actually getting more crowded throughout the day.

This avocado plush is a prize over in Springfield at one of the skill games. We want it!

Diagon Alley is busy this evening. There are long lines for Butterbeer and an 85 minute wait for Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.

Thanks for joining us today around the Universal Orlando Resort. It’s been a long day so we’re getting out of here. Don’t forget to keep following Universal Parks News Today for all the latest updates.
So many selfish people not wearing masks or wearing them improperly. I witnessed the same thing yesterday when at the park. Even though I’ve had both shots and am fully protected, I will continue to wear my mask to protect others. Too bad these folks don’t feel the same way.
Man that is a lot of people. I hope Disneyland won’t be like that when it opens.
