PHOTOS: Construction Continues on Walt Disney World Railroad in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom

New track continues to be laid at the Walt Disney World Railroad’s Fantasyland station in Storybook Circus. The attraction has been closed for over two years, due to construction of the neighboring TRON Lightcycle / Run. With the current pace of construction, it’s possible the Walt Disney World Railroad will reopen in time for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”

This large hole in the track’s path has been filled in more.

Materials are staged next to the green scrim, ready for more track to be installed.

A construction vehicle is parked adjacent to the track, where more synthetic railroad ties have been laid.

The track pieces we’ve previously seen sitting on the platform have been installed.
