Work is progressing on the new Monorail station at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The platform and its surrounding pillars are coming together around the track.

As we rode the Monorail through the resort station today, we saw that most of the columns next to the track have been covered in concrete since our visit last week.

Wood paneling has been erected along the edge of the platform as well.

Metal grates cover much of the platform at this end.

Further along the track, a section of the platform is fenced off for construction workers.

Some of the pillars have lines of cord buckled to them.

There is also less metal grating on the platform in this area.

The final vertical support has yet to be covered in concrete and remain in a cast.

From the ground, we can see that the supports on the platform on the other side also have yet to be surrounded with concrete.

More wire support pieces were staged nearby.

Columns are now going up in front of the Monorail platform as well to create the new porte-cochère.
